“The introduction to Airglove came through Health Innovation East, who facilitated discussions and enabled us to explore innovative solutions that could benefit both patients and staff within our Clinical Research Facility. Following the referral, The Royal Marsden undertook a structured evaluation process which included reviewing the available evidence, assessing potential benefits for our patient population, and undertaking practical demonstrations within the clinical environment.
The support provided by the Airglove team throughout the evaluation was excellent. Staff received comprehensive training and had the opportunity to experience the equipment first hand, allowing them to assess its practicality within day-to-day clinical care. Feedback from the team was very positive, particularly regarding patient comfort, ease of use, and the potential to support vein preservation and improve the cannulation experience for patients participating in clinical trials.
The evaluation process provided valuable insight into how innovative technologies can enhance patient care and support clinical practice. Health Innovation East played an important role in connecting us with Airglove and facilitating the opportunity to assess a technology that aligns with our commitment to continually improving patient experience and research delivery.”
